Our story

Morrow means tomorrow.

Because whatever today was like, there's a fresh bake in the morning.

Hannah, the owner of Morrow, holding a tray of sourdough loaves

An old corner shop, a new oven.

Hannah spent twelve years baking for other people before taking on the empty corner shop on Bridgnorth Road in 2019. She knocked through the back, put in a proper oven and opened with six tables and one cake.

Now there are fifteen tables, a counter full of cakes and a small team who know most of the regulars by name, and their dogs.

What we care about.

Baked here

Every cake, scone and sausage roll is made in our kitchen, starting at 6am. Nothing arrives in a box.

Local first

Free-range eggs from a farm near Kinver, bread flour from a Shropshire mill and coffee from a small Midlands roaster.

Everyone fed

There's always something vegan and something gluten-free on the counter, so nobody's left with just a coffee.
