Damp on a chimney breast is rarely the chimney itself. It is usually split or lifted lead, and we can show you where.

Ridge tiles

Old mortar cracks and lets go, and that makes a loose ridge tile the most common storm damage we see. We re-fix them with a dry system that needs no mortar.

Gutters and fascias

Overflowing gutters soak brickwork and rot timber. Some just need clearing, and we will tell you if that is all yours needs.

Questions we get asked on the doorstep.

Will I need scaffolding?

For a repair, often not, as a roof ladder or tower will do it. For anything bigger or above two storeys, usually yes, and it's already in our price.

Do you charge for a survey?

No. The survey and written price are free, and there's no pressure to go ahead.

Can you come out if it's leaking right now?

Ring us. If it's actively coming in, we aim to get a temporary cover on the same day and come back for the proper repair.

What happens if it rains while the roof is off?

We only strip what we can cover the same day, and the house is sheeted over every night.

Is the work guaranteed?

Repairs have 2 years, new pitched roofs 15 years and flat roofs 20 years, all in writing.
